The teacher will be responsible for teaching Cambridge IGCSE Economics (0455) to secondary students.
Key responsibilities include:
- Teaching Cambridge IGCSE Economics to secondary students.
- Delivering engaging lessons that develop students' understanding of economic theories, data analysis, and critical thinking.
- Preparing lesson plans, teaching resources, assessments, and revision materials aligned with Cambridge standards.
- Monitoring student progress, providing feedback, and preparing academic reports.
- Conducting assessments, mock exams, and analyzing student performance data.
- Attending parent-teacher meetings, department meetings, and professional development activities.
- Supporting school events and extracurricular activities when required.
Requirements
Essential requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Economics, Business Economics, or a closely related field.
- Strong subject knowledge in Economics.
- Experience preparing students for external examinations.
Preferred qualifications and experience:
- Teaching qualification such as PGCE, Teaching License, or equivalent.
- Experience teaching Cambridge IGCSE Economics.
- Experience teaching Cambridge AS & A Level Economics.
- Experience working in international or bilingual schools.
- Familiarity with Cambridge curriculum and assessment standards.
