Job Description

The teacher will be responsible for teaching Cambridge IGCSE Economics (0455) to secondary students.

Key responsibilities include:

• Teaching Cambridge IGCSE Economics to secondary students.
• Delivering engaging lessons that develop students' understanding of economic theories, data analysis, and critical thinking.
• Preparing lesson plans, teaching resources, assessments, and revision materials aligned with Cambridge standards.
• Monitoring student progress, providing feedback, and preparing academic reports.
• Conducting assessments, mock exams, and analyzing student performance data.
• Attending parent-teacher meetings, department meetings, and professional development activities.
• Supporting school events and extracurricular activities when required.

Requirements

Essential requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Economics, Business Economics, or a closely related field.
• Strong subject knowledge in Economics.
• Experience preparing students for external examinations.

Preferred qualifications and experience:

• Teaching qualification such as PGCE, Teaching License, or equivalent.
• Experience teaching Cambridge IGCSE Economics.
• Experience teaching Cambridge AS & A Level Economics.
• Experience working in international or bilingual schools.
• Familiarity with Cambridge curriculum and assessment standards.
